I am a self-trained apprentice in many fields. I retired after 26.5 years of USMC service, Been a model builder since age 8, scale model cars, planes, tanks…balsa wood airplanes, the kind that you cut the parts to build the plane and then coat the tissue paper skin with aero-dope…games player and miniatures collector…amateur military historian and collector of books. SAGA, Muskets and Tomahawk, Crescent & Cross, Bolt Action, Zombicide, Lion Rampant to name a few. My main interest is historical reference and presenting miniatures and terrain that are as accurate as possible; I have constructed many worlds of terrain. I am a member of the terrain building team for Adepticon WH40K & the SAGA Team for Adepticon. Club affiliation is with Adepticon Historical folks. My sons, Chris & Mark are my greatest inspirations and champions…they always encourage me to go further and try harder. Also a very special friend, Cindy, who told me she always has been a great fan of my painting. A HUGE THANKS to all three! Currently I have the capabilities and footprint to construct modular boards, most all types of buildings and terrain elements for most genres of gaming and to prepare molds and cast items from custom pieces sent to me or from articles I have constructed. I am a serviceable painter of miniature warriors but quite happy with my own painting skills. Each day is another chance to improve all aspects of my skills…gaming, building, painting and enjoying life. Semper Fidelis!!!
